Map of the Past for Michael

Michael has had an early journey through life was pretty ordinary for a middle-classed kid, growing up in suburbia of Washington state. Good grades, married parents, a few sports, and drawn to technology of all kinds, with a curiosity for how things work.

A quick tour through college, where the tech was easy, but the subjective concepts were hard, he moved into working in computer technology. Technology is great as a tool, when it enhances the human experience. His focus was on making jobs easier for his team. Sometimes that comes in the form of training, a new tool, or merely listening to what someone is up against. Though there was a piece missing.

This missing piece ended up being the personal development aspect. The inner work. This was influenced by books such as The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz and A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle, and also by The Secret, What the %@^& Do We Know, and Mindvalley Quests.

Between the tools and finding that missing piece were some rough patches. A couple of divorces, legal trouble, financial challenges, and rebuilding a sense of self after getting lost for a bit in self-pity, a victim mindset, and like nothing he did could or would go right.

The current Waypoint for Michael

From adversity, be it originating in the environment, the inner struggle, or consequences for choices, we gain lessons, and aspects to be grateful for. The things he is most grateful for is his family, a place to call home, a loving wife, and the unfolding of his personal mission.

Michael’s Massively Transformative Purpose (MTP)

To guide men to relate to others in a way that isn’t sexual, predatory, or bullying and through service and authentic connections become authentic leaders.

Michael Danklefs

Like most MTPs, this is a work in progress, and stems from his own experience and struggle in these areas.

Coaching from this viewpoint goes into the space of compassion, discovering core beliefs and desires, and guiding others to express their plans, goals, and vision for their life in a way that is empowering, motivational, inspirational, and transformative.

One of the tools that Michael has used in his own life to accomplish this is called Lifebook. It has helped him discover and shape his life in a way that is clear, concise, and actionable on a regular basis.

What Journey is Next?

Expanding on his focus, knowledge, and wisdom, he is looking to help guide others to be the best version of themselves. Using support, coaching, feedback, accountability structures, and speaking to achieve and impact on the world is the goal.

This way, the world can be a place for safe discomfort, ruthless compassion, deep personal growth, and all people are better by it.

The knowledge collection phase is done.

It is time to move into the action phase.
