Discipline is not a dirty word

Discipline takes many different forms.  In fact it has a couple of different definitions on how it is used.  From Merriam-Webster:

noun

1 a: control gained by enforcing obedience or order
borderly or prescribed conduct or pattern of behavior
   cSELF-CONTROL
3training that corrects, molds, or perfects the mental faculties or moral character
4a field of study
5a rule or system of rules governing conduct or activity

verb

1to punish or penalize for the sake of enforcing obedience and perfecting moral character
2to train or develop by instruction and exercise especially in self-control
3 ato bring (a group) under control
   bto impose order upon

Punishment

For some, the punishment aspect is the one they focus on.  The penalization, enforcing obedience in others.  For others, it is the self-control aspect, and may feel at times like is sacrificing some aspect of yourself when using it.

Self-Displine

When it comes to moving your life forward, how do you find the joy in self-discipline?  How do you get to the point where good health feel better than anything can taste?  Where that 15 minutes of meditation you know will set you up for the day better than 15 minutes listening to a morning radio program?  This is a place you can get to, when your context around discipline is shifted.

These are the subjects that Elevated Mindset will be talking about coming up next week.
